EM JONO jewelry is always solid, never plated

Sterling silver naturally tarnishes, luckily it is extremely easy to clean off with items you likely have around the house.

If you notice some tarnishing on the surface of the metal you can take warm water with dish soap & toothpaste, yes toothpaste, and use a soft toothbrush and scrub gently.

As for our gold pieces, similar care is involved. Warm water and dish soap will gently clean the surface and restore its shine.

Pieces with faceted stones have open backs to let light in for your stone to shine brighter. Lotions and oils from your hands can get behind the stones and make it appear dull. In order to regain its brightness, use warm water and dish soap along with a soft bristle toothbrush  to gently scrub behind the stone. This should shine right back up! 

In more stubborn cases, you may consider using a gentle ultrasonic cleaner or consulting with your local jeweler.
